This Repository allows index, preserve and redistribute - in digital form - the intellectual output of the ECLAC in more than 35,00 digital publications that includes a variety of information sources, such as :Final versions of documents, Public information, Official documents, Documents which ECLAC has copyright, Documents to be preserved as representative of the institutional memory, etc.
Support for the academic libraries at the state's public colleges and universities, including a discovery tool used by students and faculty to access library resources and an integrated library management system used by library staff.
The World Bank decided to adopt its own Open Access policy since 2012, creating this Open Access Repository in which WB makes its reports and books fully available to the public. Most of content is published under CC BY so it can be re-used and freely downloaded. Contains most of the World Bank published books from 2000 to present which includes flagship publications, academic books and practitioner volumes; it also has released all World Development Reports (WDRs) since 1978, plus recent WDR background papers, serial publications typically based on data-intensive outlook reports.
SSRN has delivered close to 88 million full-text PDF downloads and we are pleased with our continued growth. The SSRN eLibrary currently contains 613,000 paper abstracts from 283,000 authors and received 64,000 new full-text submissions in the past year. SSRN's CiteReader technology, built with ITX Corp., has extracted over 9 million references and over 9 million footnotes, and matched over 6 million citations from our 510,000 full-text papers. As we approach the notable milestone of delivering 100 million downloads, we know that SSRN’s most important contributions to scholarship are helping researchers innovate faster, and provide Open Access and enhanced discovery of new results for the world.
